Book RockStar Productions for Your Establishment's Entertainment Needs!

For your sense of security, as well as our own, please note that there are only two individuals authorized to conduct business for RockStar Productions - Matthew Martin and Sarah Beth Martin.

What You Get with RockStar Productions. . . .

Since 2002, RockStar Productions has strived to provide premium entertainment services throughout the Pittsburgh and Johnstown areas. To ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality services to your establishment, we adhere to the following stadards of excellence:


Alcohol-Free Operations!
If you and/or your customers want to get your drink on, go ahead - have a blast! But, the DJ's/KJ's of RockStar Productions won't be joining you for a drink. We operate our shows completely sober - we do not drink before, or during, our service to you. Our sobriety is our guarantee to you that we are providing you with the best service we can possibily provide. We will not allow alcohol to impair our performance or judgment.

Extensive Show/Venue Promotion!
We're not here merely to promote ourselves to you. We're also here to promote your business to the public. Once we are booked to perform at your venue, we will publicize our booking, both in the physical and electronic realms, so that new customers, as well as regulars, will know the time and date of an exciting event with us at your establishment. We will create, distribute, and post hard-copy paper fliers which we will post in your establishment as well as in other locations allowing public postings. We will also advertise eleltornically via postings on popular websites (including, but not limited to, myspace.com, friendster.com) and show- and/or establishment-related forums (such as karaokepittsurgh.com and barsmart.com). All forms of fliers will include your establishment's name, location, phone number, website (if applicable), and food/beverage specials as well as the date(s) of our booking(s).

Hot New Karaoke Songs!
We know how much karaoke buffs love to sing - they love the classic tunes they've been singing for years, but they also love the hot new songs on the radio. So, in an effort to please them - and, to please you - we update our karaoke catalog at least once every four months. We continually acquire new songs - in various genres - so that our singers can belt out some of the songs that have risen to the top of the charts. We are familiar with the karaoke scene - and, we have some songs that most KJ's simply don't have yet. Which songs? Well, we don't want to tell you all of our secrets right now but would be glad to show you our books (our new songs are listed as "New Songs" in the front of our books) or discuss our new titles with you over the phone!

New Music!
We continually update our music library regularly so that our DJ services can provide you with the latest popular music in multiple genres.  For some of those racier tunes, we acquire both radio-edit and explicit lyric versions.

Custom/Theme Playlists!
If you're looking to start a special theme night at your establishment - such as "80's night" or "Hard Rock Night," and so on - given adequate notice, we can create a custom/theme playlist to meet your needs. Any genre, any era - you name it, we'll make it happen!

Equipment Upgrades!
Of course, when our equipment is damaged or suffers from extensive wear-and-tear, we replace it. But, we don't wait until something is on its last leg before replacing it or adding to our equipment inventory! To make sure that our stars' voices are heard and heard well, we use NADY microphones, including wired mics with 20-foot cables which give our singers plenty of mobility to dance and strutt their stuff as they sing. But, if 20 feet isn't enough mobility for them, we have wireless mics so they can rock and roll all over the place.

Your Relationship with RockStar Productions. . . .

If you make the right choice and book RockStar Productions' DJ and/or Karaoke services for your establishment's entertainment needs, we'll come to your venue ready to rock - we'll perform with the energy and enthusiasm that has come to be associated with RockStar Productions - and, we'll show you, and your customers, due respect in our joint entertainment venture.

But, before we can rock your establishment, there are some business aspects of our relationship that we need to establish, right? Our preferred business practices are as follows:

Fees. Our prices are both affordable and competitive. We do not offer a simple block quote since we take many things into consideration when determining our fee. Some things we consider include, but are not limited to: venue size, popularity, and reputation; venue location; day and time of booking; business owner preferences; availability of in-venue equipment; other venue features; venue cover-charges, specials, or promotions; and, frequency/regularity of booking. We are open to negotiations and invite the oppurtunity to work out a fee arrangement that is satisfactory to your needs as well as our own.

Payment.
Whether you book us for an isolated performance or for frequent or reoccuring services, we expect payment in full at the time of service. You may opt to pay us when we arrive at your establishment, or when we leave - either way, we politley request that you fullfill your obligation to us in the window of time we are fullfilling our obligation to you. Our preferred payment method is cash or money order. Corporate checks will be accepted only from larger establishments that have a long history of successful operation in the service area.

Cancellation/Rescheduling by Establishment.
When an establishment books us for a frequent or re-occurring services, we realize, and understand, that the establishment, for various reasons, may need to cancel or reschedule our booking to better meet their needs. If such a situation arises, we are willing to reschedule our booking for another date. However, that date must be one that is convenient for us - in other words, one where we are not already booked for a public, private, or personal event. We, therefore, reserve the right to veto any suggested resheduling if it conflicts with our schedule(s) - though, we will make every effort to accomodate your request.

Cancellation/Rescheduling by RockStar Productions.
Just as things happen in your professional and personal lives, so too do things happen in ours. And, so it happens, from time to time, in the event of special circumstances, we may be unavailable for a particular booking in our frequent or re-occurring service to you. If such a situation arises, we will contact you as soon as possible. You may then elect to reschedule our service for another date and time. Or, we may choose to offer you a temporary, stand-in service from our network of other DJ/KJ contacts to fill our temporary abscence. Said stand-in would remain a separate entity from RockStar Productions, Inc., unless otherwise specified by Matthew Martin or Sarah Beth Martin, and would conduct operations, and create obligations, liabilities, and good will, separate of RockStar Productions, Inc..

Termination of Service. If your business books RockStar Productions for frequent or re-occurring services (e.g., weekly services) and you elect to end our service relationship at any time, we politely request that you give us two weeks notice - should we elect to end our relationship with you, we would extend the same professional courtesy.
