Whether you're looking for a DJ to provide the perfect soundtrack for your party or event or you're looking for a fun-filled night of karaoke, our huge selection of music is sure to please - with over 150,000 songs in our music collection, and over 100,000 karaoke songs, we're ready to make your party or event ROCK!

• Alcohol-free Operations! If you and/or your guests want to get your drink on, go ahead - have a blast! But, the DJs/KJs of RockStar Productions won't be joining you for a drink.  We operate our shows completely sober - we do not drink alcohol before, or during, our service to you.  Our sobriety is our guarantee to you that we are providing you with the best service we can possibly provide.  We will not allow alcohol to impair our performance or judgment.
• Extensive Music & Karaoke Inventories! Currently, our music library has over 100,000 songs and our karaoke catalog includes over 100,000 songs.
  • We continually update our music library to ensure that we're stocked up on all of the current hit songs. 
  • We update our karaoke catalog at least every four months, allowing our singers to sing some of their favorite songs they've been hearing on the radio.  For kicks, we try to get many songs other KJs simply don't have yet.
• Custom/Theme Playlists! With our DJ services, we can provide a custom playlist that meets your specific party/event needs. 
  • As a general rule, we play whatever type of music our party/event host wants us to play - typically, we ask that you to tell us which genres you would prefer to hear, or not to hear, at your party/event.  If you do not provide us with any preference, we will play a mix of genres from the 70s to today but will not play any "hardcore" sub-genres (such as heavy metal or gangster rap) unless specifically requested.  
  • But, maybe you want something a little more tailored to your specific event.  Maybe you're planning a reunion and want to hear all the chart-toppers from the decade you graduated or, maybe, you want to pull out your leg-warmers and hairspray for an 80's theme party - whatever your theme, we can create a playlist that matches it. 
  • If you're not planning a themed event but have some songs you absolutely want, or need, to hear at your party/event, just submit your request list to us (at least four days prior to your party/event) and we'll play your requested tunes!
• "Clean" vs. "Explicit" Song Selections! There are a lot of great songs out there containing dirty lyrics - and, many of those great songs are available in both explicit versions (containing the "dirty" words) and clean versions (either silencing the "dirty" words or replacing them with other words). 
  • As a general rule, when we perform at a party/event for minors, or where the majority of guests are minors, we will play only clean versions of such songs. 
  • For adult parties, we inquire as to which version the party/event host would prefer.  If the party/event host does not voice his or her preference, we select which version to play based on whether or not we deem it appropriate for the type of party/event or venue.  For example, on the one hand, if we are booked to play a wedding reception, by default, we will play clean versions of such songs.  On the other hand, if, for example, we are booked to play an adult's birthday party at a bar/club, we will play the explicit versions. 
  • But, of course, your preferences come first - so, if you don't like our default operations in this regard, please let us know prior to your event
• MC, Sound, & Plug-In Services! At RockStar Productions, we are equipped to provide you with other premium services in addition to our regular DJ/KJ services.
  • At most parties/events, there are announcements that need to be made - from simple birthday wishes or promotions for raffles and/or door prizes to award announcements or recognition of event/ceremony planners/participants and so on.  Sure, you, as the party/event host, can take the mic and make these announcements.  But, if you're too shy - or if you want to enjoy the party/event yourself - you can leave this task to the pros! Our DJs/KJs are also experienced MCs and will make such announcements for you according to your instructions.
  • Sometimes, you may want to mix things up at your party/event.  Perhaps you want to incorporate a live musical act, a lover's serranade, a comedy act, or any other type of live act into your party/event.  If that's what you want, we can help you out! We have over 20 years of experience running sound for live acts, musical and otherwise - so, all your live act has to do is plug into our high quality boards and get ready to rock! 
• Optional Lighting! If you want to spruce up the lighting at your party/event, we can provide some groovy lighting! Our PAR Can Lighting System consists of four light cans on a horizontal tray mounted on a vertical pole with adjustable height.  Select clear or colored gels to direct the four beams of light which rhythmically pulse to the beat of the music.  For smaller events, we also have a pole light with colored bulbs that sets the perfect backdrop for our karaoke singers! These lighting effects are optional and come at no additional charge to you - we only ask that, should you desire these lighting options, you request them prior to your party/event.
• Advanced Set-Up and Sound Check! We know how important your party/event is to you.  You want the sound to be perfect - and, so do we.  We'll show up at your party/event venue well in advance of its start time (typically, one hour prior to casual, informal events and as much as three hours prior to formal events, depending on your venue's guidelines and availability for pre-event set-up on the day of your party/event) - this way, we can make sure our set-up is not only optimum for sound distribution but that it is also pleasing to the eyes and convenient for your guess to access. 
• Reliable, Top-of-the-Line Equipment! At RockStar Productions, we only use top-of-the-line equipment.  From our speakers to our microphones and our premium quality karaoke discs, we make sure that our equipment is fully functioning and always have back-up equipment available in the event of some malfunction or accident (you'd be surprised how many singers drop mics!) at your party/event.
• Appropriate Appearance/Attire! When you are booking entertainment services for your party/event, we understand that you don't want your service providers to stick out like a sore thumb.  We do the best with what God gave us and groom ourselves appropriately for your party/event.  For formal affairs, if requested, Matthew will wear a tuxedo.  If no preference is otherwise indicated, we will generally dress in the spirit of your guests - in other words, we won't come to your party/event wearing jeans and t-shirts when everyone else is wearing a suit or dress!
• Affordable, Competitive Prices! We do not offer a block quote price for our services since there are many variables to consider when establishing our fee.  Some of the things we take into consideration include, but are not limited to:  date, day, time, and venue of your event/party; duration of service; estimated number of guests; specific services needed; venue size, location, and acoustics; availability of in-venue equipment; and, type of event.  We won't charge you an arm and a leg for our services - we'll do our best to work out a fee arrangement that both fits your budget and adequately compensates us for our service.  We expect payment in full, in the form of cash or money order, at the time our services are rendered (personal checks will only be accepted if submitted, and approved, two weeks prior to your party/event).

Many of our former, and/or recurring, clients could testify as to the quality of our services.  But, there's one testimony that stands out from the rest - ours.  When it came time to plan our own wedding in July 2007, we wanted the best entertainment services out there - so, we chose the best.  We chose ourselves.  That's right, we provided the entertainment services for our own wedding! Our wedding was the most important day in both of our lives and we couldn't trust that any other DJ would provide service as outstanding as our own.  So, we did it ourselves and we, as well as our honored guests, had a superb time!
